Tina Lefebvre, MA RP (Q)

Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying

 Tina completed a bachelors in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University and is currently finishing a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Yorkville University.

 

Tina is a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and has experience working with children who are Neurodivergent. She is trauma informed and understands the importance of attachment based approaches. Tina is currently completing Play Therapy Certification with the Maritime Play Therapy Association.

 

Tina takes a child-centered/person-centered approach and has experience working within the Indigenous community advocating for families and providing counselling. As an Indigenous woman and parent she understands the effects that colonization has had on Indigenous parents and communities and tends to take a cultural approach to healing. Tina has a therapy dog and understand the important that animals may have in the healing process.

In her free time she enjoys hiking and staying in touch with nature with her wife, children and dogs.
